Chuan-Yu Chen, MSc, PhD

Chuan-Yu Chen is the professor in the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan. Her research has primarily focused on (i) the evolution of substance use and problems and associated predictors in young population, (ii) developmental/health problems for the children with substance-using parents, and (iii) unmet needs in health and social services for substance-using women. Dr. Chen is an adjunct faculty position at Michigan State University Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, working with drug dependence training program faculty to bring about the diverse methodological approach to investigate the manifestation substance use and problems in school, community, and institutional settings.
